About Satpura National Park
Located in the Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh, Satpura National Park is part of the Satpura Tiger Reserve along with Pachmarhi and Bori Wildlife Sanctuaries. Spread over 524 sq. km, the park offers a rare chance to experience the jungle in multiple ways – jeep safari, walking safari, canoe ride, and boat safari – making it one of the most unique wildlife destinations in India.
The park is less crowded compared to other tiger reserves, offering a peaceful and raw jungle experience.

Best Time to Visit
October – April → Pleasant weather, good for safaris
November – February → Best for bird watching
March – April → Good for spotting tigers & leopards
Park remains closed from July to September (monsoon).
